A painting for a Kidney for the benefit of a Buddhist Monk.
Pema - my Dharma Bhai - just called me telling that his brother Karma urgently needs a kidney transplant to survive. I have attached a more detailed e-mail from him. At this time I don’t have the resources to help financially, but I realized that I could sell one of my paintings and use the proceeds to help with the operation: a painting for a kidney.
This painting has a market value of 4.500 euros (6.250US$). It is a recent painting and represents the Aztec Calendar.
I will sell it for 2.500 euros (3.500US$), to help Karma in his journey... he needs 7.500 euros (10.000US$) now.
To also help with the operation, each painting I sell during the months of April and May I will donate 20% of the sale amount to Karma’s need.
If you prefer any of my other available paintings let me know and we can discuss the details, what is important is making the target and insuring that Karma receives his new kidney.
